First power transformer project for ČEZ Group

Łódź, Poland, November 2018 – After a long and precise audit process, ZREW Transformatory signed a 6-year framework agreement for producing and delivering transformers to ČEZ, the biggest producer of energy in the Czech Republic. The delivery of the first two transformers is planned for mid-2019.

Highly efficient transformers for Hamburger HOCHBAHN

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, November 2018 – Hamburger HOCHBAHN AG, the largest transport company in Hamburg, has ordered 14 highly efficient Tesar cast resin transformers for its substations – this will increase the quality of life throughout Hamburg and beyond the borders of the city.

Project for Slovakian transmission system operator SEPS

Plzeň, Czech Republic, November 2018 – The Slovakian installation company Alter Energo assigned SERW with the delivery of multiple 420 kV disconnectors and earthing switches for the main transmission system operator in Slovakia SEPS. The project, located in Podunajské Biskupice, a borough of Bratislava, is very interesting from a view that the previous supplier of disconnectors and earthing switches was changed during the running project.

Transformers for hydroelectric power plants

Sissach, Switzerland, November 2018 – With a special helicopter from the Swiss company Rotex, five transformers were transported from the station Champéry to the higher located stations Gietroz and Clusanfe in the Swiss mountain region. There, the transformers provide a reliable power supply for the water pumps, pumping rainwater to the next higher station.

Re-electrification of several Belgian rail lines

Sissach, Switzerland, November 2018 – Rauscher & Stoecklin has engineered a double load break switch with a special signalization solution according to the specifications of the customer Infrabel, the main infrastructure manager of railways in Belgium. The custom-designed product will allow Infrabel to feed up and switch off the power on the catenary on load and to always have the right information about the status of the line.

The 1000th power transformer

Łódź, Poland, October 2018 – In the Polish transformer factory in Łódź, the headquarters of ZREW, a transformer with the serial number 1000 was produced this month. It is the culmination of over 60 years of experience in the production, diagnostics and service of power transformers.

Transformer for the Valmadrera Cogeneration Plant

Subbiano Arezzo, Italy, October 2018 – Tesar will deliver a 16.000 kVA cast resin transformer to the waste-to-energy plant in Valmadrera, Italy in the first quarter of 2019. There, the transformer will transform the voltage level from the steam turbines, operating by waste incineration, to the needed voltage level for the electricity grid.

New project for ČEPS

Plzeň, Czech Republic, October 2018 – A successful factory acceptance test made by the company ČEPS, a well-known transmission system operator in the Czech Republic, has lead to one of the biggest projects in the history of SERW with delivery and service work for a total of 464 products in the first stage.
