Matterhorn region Switzerland

Two coupling transformers were put into operation at a height of 2’939m in the Matterhorn region of Switzerland. The complex transport operation started in the early morning in order to prevent any disturbance of the visitors. With the help of the local ropeway, the transformers reached their final destination at a height of 2’939m.

Tramway Casablanca

In view to the development plan of the public transport that will connect 3 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area of Casablanca by 2030, a new tram line and an extension of an existing tram line were introduced. To make sure the tram lines are supplied with power and bring you comfortably from destination to destination, Tesar provided not only cast resin transformers but also oil immersed transformers.

Chiasso Substation

With a view to increasing the traffic volume of the Swiss-Italian Gotthard corridor, a new substation for electrical power (SSE) has been built in Chiasso (CO) on the border between Italy and Switzerland, operating since 27 May 2018. The purpose of this SSE is the AC/DC conversion for the powering of trains circulating in the Swiss railway networks.

The Louvre in Abu Dhabi

Muscat International Airport in Oman

During the night between 20 and 21 March 2018, the new Muscat International Airport in Oman was put into operation. Spread across an area of 335.000 sqm, the new airport is able to handle more than 20 million passengers per year, with plans to increase the capacity up to 48 million in the future.
